I put this open call together for a simple reason: I believe in the esoteric power of art to alter the collective unconscious, and the absolute necessity of doing it now.

Eight people will read what you send: curators in Florence and São Paulo, an artist and educator about the magical origins of Art, a painter in Valencia, a researcher in Melbourne, the writer behind Back From The Borderline podcast, a painter with an MFA from Düsseldorf, and me.

You do not need to be exhibiting, represented, or out of school.

First recipient receives $1,750 CAD and two weeks at the Aurigin Centre in Spain. Seven gifts in total.

If $5 is a barrier, write and we’ll waive it. No explanation needed."
